For Nursery through Rising 8th Graders
Camp Walden offers a joyful, nurturing, and engaging summer experience led by the talented faculty of Waldorf School of New Orleans on our beautiful main campus at 2539 Columbus Street.
Nursery & Kindergarten Camp (Ages 3 to 6):
A gentle and calming daily rhythm designed for little ones.
Weekly dip-dying textiles to create stunning handmade art.
Splashing fun on warm days, free play in natural surroundings, and cozy crafts.
Hearty snacks to fuel their adventures.
Dates: Monday - Friday
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $375 per week
Grades Camp (Rising 1st to 6th Graders):
Classic summer camp favorites like tie-dying t-shirts, mini-pool kickball, and crafting friendship bracelets.
Hands-on activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and exploration.
A relaxing, developmentally supportive environment where every camper thrives.
Counselor In Training (Rising 7th to 10th Graders) CITs are guided by the camp teachers. The program costs $150/ week and is not paid. CITs have the opportunity to work in both the Grades camp as well as the Early Childhood camp. CIT responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up and cleaning up various activities, helping to guide campers in both structured and unstructured activities and learning about how to maintain a safe learning environment.
