With spacious, light-filled classrooms, an inner courtyard, and two whimsical play yards filled with gardens, sandboxes, and playhouses, our Early Childhood Center has been created to nurture our youngest students and to provide parenting support for our families. Nearby playgrounds, friendly business owners, and welcoming neighbors provide plenty of walking adventures and learning opportunities as the children discover the world around them.

Our Little One/Loved One class, Nursery, and Kindergarten are nationally and internationally accredited programs and are taught by fully trained Waldorf early childhood teachers. The Early Childhood Center premiered the first Forest Kindergarten in New Orleans in 2016; the kindergarten currently spends 50 to 60% of its week in outdoor spaces.
