Enrollment Coordinator

Work with the Administrative Director, Business Manager, and Development &
Communications Director, as well as with faculty, to develop, evaluate, and redesign where appropriate, all aspects of admissions, enrollment, and marketing procedure and materials, and to promote public awareness Waldorf Education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ENROLLMENT:
• Review and update Enrollment calendar as needed
• Recruit prospective families
First point of contact for inquiries
Schedule, organize, and lead regular School Tours
Accommodate families and visitors with private Tours as needed
Organize and coordinate Open House(s) as scheduled with Faculty

Admissions for incoming families

• Prompt notification of receipt of application
• Create admissions file (follow up as needed)
• Screen applicants for suitability, bring any concerns to Faculty
• Schedule interviews, coordinating with parents and Faculty, greet family and
assist at interview as needed
• Schedule class visit, greet student and family if possible
• Ascertain the admissions decision from faculty and notify family within 24
hours by email and phone

• For accepted students:
Outline steps to finalize enrollment
Follow-up with family ahead of deadline and for registration documents
Acknowledge receipt of deposit
Submit completed admissions folder to Front Desk Manager

Pipeline Management
• Analyzes enrollment trends, demographic data, and market research to identify
areas for growth, potential challenges, and opportunities for improvement in
enrollment management strategies
• Establish and maintain a wait-pool
• Support student retention
Check-in with new families
Work with faculty, administration, and trusted parents to detect dissatisfaction and help find resolution
Support re-enrollment
Work with Faculty to determine matriculation and open seats
Conduct Exit Survey of families who have left voluntarily

OUTREACH:
• Call and coordinate monthly Outreach Committee meetings
• Promote the School – promising leads, new approaches, untapped opportunities,
etc.in collaboration with the Outreach Committee
• Represent the School to the greater community at outside events
• Recruit and coordinates volunteers for outside promotional events
• Consult on recruiting materials (brochures, handouts, flyers, swag, banners, etc.) in
collaboration with the Development and Communications Director
• Assist Development Director in hosting events as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

∙ Bachelor’s Degree in related field
∙ Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to supervise volunteers
∙ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∙ Excellent oral and written communication skills
∙ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
∙ Knowledge of Waldorf school philosophy
