The day after our Mardi Gras break will be Pajama Reading Day, in honor of Read Across America Day. Grades students participate in an all-school reading event the first hour of school. Grades students may wear pajamas, robes, comfy sweats, and slippers. Students may bring books from home to read (be sure to label) or may select books from the library. At different times of the day, older students may read to our younger students.
Keep in mind, pajamas must follow the dress code. No media or camouflage. Students must be able to move properly in clothing. Students may wear slippers but need to wear proper shoes for recess and movement. Students may wear PJs all day! Please contact Lesley Rubenstein lrubenstein@waldorfnola.org for additional information.
